Amina’s Bio

Amina Linda McMakin is a certified leader and mentor/teacher for the Dances of Universal Peace, and an ordained interfaith minister (Cherag) in the Sufi Ruhaniat International.  Since 1998, she has presented monthly dance meetings and sponsored workshops and classes in the Greenville, SC area and at her home in Pelzer.  She has been a South Carolina coordinator for the Dances and has long participated in growing the Dances throughout the State.

Amina has been a student of the Aramaic teachings of Jesus since 1995 and is a graduate of the Aramaic Interspiritual Leadership Program conducted by Dr. Neil Douglas-Klotz, Aramaic scholar, author, and senior mentor/teacher for the Dances of Universal Peace.  She believes that her evolving attunement to the Aramaic Jesus has opened the way for this unique experience of  Mary Magdalene.
